Anna Scouten is a multidisciplinary artist and nature enthusiast from Nex̱wlélex̱wm (Bowen Island) on Skwxwú7mesh land and currently living, working & playing on Quw’utsun (Cowichan) homelands.

Anna’s work — clay, music & otherwise — is heavily inspired by natural elements and her passion for environmental sustainability. Having grown up on the west coast of Canada, she attributes a lot to her surroundings and continues to do her part to honour, preserve and share her love for nature. Outside of working in special and outdoor education, you can find Anna collecting smooth stones along shorelines, following birds with her binoculars and, more often than not, wearing gumboots.
